Campaigns and Events Officer

Part time (24 hours/week)

We are looking for a passionate and innovative campaigns and events specialist to fill a new position in our Supporter Development and Communications team.

If you have a passion for turning creative ideas into reality, working within a fun and dynamic team, enjoy variety in a broad role and are keen to make a difference to the lives of people with MND, then we would love to hear from you! We are looking for someone who:

  • has a relevant qualification in events, marketing, sales or a related field
  • has experience with project management and event planning and operations
  • has exemplary communication skills
  • is highly organised, creative and solution focussed
  • has excellent computer skills
  • is a professional with a “can do” approach with a demonstrated customer focussed approach to all work activities

MND Victoria is dedicated to providing the best possible support for people living with motor neurone disease (MND). The Supporter Development and Communications team is focused on raising awareness of the critical work MND Victoria do within the MND community and to raise much needed funds to underwrite the services delivered by the Association to people living with MND.

Reporting to the Manager – Supporter Development and Communications, this new position will play a major role in ensuring MND Victoria’s existing campaigns and events are organised and delivered in the most effective and impactful way possible. There is also the opportunity to create new and innovative campaigns and events that will increase MND Victoria’s profile and overall revenue to ensure people living with MND receive the best possible care and support.

You will be joining a team of 34 fabulous and highly committed professionals across Victoria and Tasmania, in a rewarding and caring environment.

This is a part time position (24 hours per week) position. Based at Canterbury.
